There's said to be still unanswered questions over the planned Eastern Garavogue Bridge. 

The 70 metre span-arch bridge that forms part of a wider plan to improve connectivity on the eastern side of Sligo however a Journal Investigates Report claims that construction costs have increased to €50m.

There's ongoing concern locally over its potential impact on protected wildlife and nearby communities.

The investigation into where the project is at has been carried out by Journalist Patricia Devlin and she says it has has uncovered some interesting findings:
