There are further calls on the HSE to speed up the delivery of givinostat to the Republic of Ireland. 

It comes as a campaign for urgent access to a life-changing Duchenne muscular dystrophy drug to nine year old Aaron Langan from south Donegal continues.

The HSE has reiterated it is committed to providing access to as many medicines as possible, in as timely a fashion as possible.

Engagement is ongoing between the HSE the pharmaceutical company and a further meeting in two weeks time.
