Plans for a major housing development in Bundoran have been given the green light. 

Over 90 houses, ranging from detached and semi-detached are to be built on a site on Church Road. 

McHenry Asset Holdings Ltd submitted a planning application a year ago. 

Construction is set to take place over a period of ten years with the plans including the demolition of two detached houses along with associated sheds.

Sinn Fein Cllr Michael McMahon described it as a vote of confidence in the town but says social housing in particular is urgently needed:
