A Sligo Leitrim junior Minister says the Government is continuing to engage with EU counterparts over possible energy supports.

Measures are set to be brought to Cabinet on Tuesday to address spiraling costs for fuel and home heating oil.

The Opposition has been critical of the Government for acting too slowly.
