The Government has been blasted over the price of a three bed semi-detached home in County Sligo. 

Of the three North West counties, the average price of a second-hand three-bed semi is still highest in County Sligo at €272,500.

According to the latest REA national survey, Sligo house prices rose by 1.9% over the last three months. 

Deputy Mayor of the Sligo Borough and Sinn Fein Cllr Arthur Gibbons thinks the Government could be doing better in combating the housing crisis:
