A North West representative Aontú is today looking to establish who is going to be held responsible for the GDPR breach of the patients' files and medical records found at St. Conal's Hospital Letterkenny.

Mary T Sweeney says the incident is beyond unacceptable and the breach of privacy, trust and responsibility is just staggering.

She says it's needs to be confirmed if the records discovered in Donegal are general medical records from Letterkenny Hospital or Former patients from St Conal's or a combination of both.

The Donegal based party representative says serious questions need to be answered:
