There are further calls for the introduction of more 30 kph zones in urban areas in County Sligo. 

It comes as a public consultation process on Co Sligo's Special Speed Limit Bye-Laws is currently underway. 

Special speed limits on public roads could be rolled out in various parts of the County thereafter. 

Major of the Sligo Borough and Labour Cllr Anne Higgins is firmly endorsing the Love 30 Campaign and is encouraging people to look at what is being proposed:
