There are further calls to review car parking charges at Sligo University Hospital. 

It comes as figures released by Sinn Fein yesterday show close to a tenfold increase in revenue in the hospital car park in Sligo over the last two years. 

Letterkenny University Hospital saw a 300% increase in the last four years.

Member of the Regional Health Forum and local Independent Cllr Marie Casserly has been a strong advocate for the car parking payment structure to be examined. 

Cllr Casserly has reiterated her call for a fairer system which would reflect short and long stays:
