The Sligo - Enniskillen Greenway is set to get a funding boost. 

It's among four greenway projects in the border region under the Shared Island Greenways Development Fund.

For the Sligo to Enniskillen project, funding will be provided to support project costs associated with closing out Phase 3: Design and Environmental Evaluation for this cross-border route.

Funding of approximately €350,000 will be available to the Sligo to Enniskillen project this year. 

Cathaoirleach of the Sligo Drumcliff MD Cllr Marie Casserly says the infrastrueuw will have far reaching benefits to the region:
