The new Family Resource Centre in Drumkeerin will be allocated an annual funding allocation of 180,000 euro towards its running costs.
The news was confirmed earlier this morning by Sligo Deputy Eamon Scanlon.
The Family Resource will be located in the former Garda Station in the village.
