Yesterday’s rescue off Bundoran’s Main Beach has been described as dramatic.

Bundoran RNLI along with Rescue 118 were tasked to the scene at around 4.40pm following reports of swimmer in difficulty in the area.

The swimmer was plucked from the water in extremely challenging conditions and transferred to Sligo University Hospital for treatment.
