A Donegal TD has reiterated his calls for the reintroduction of energy credits in the upcoming  Budget. 

It comes as Bord Gáis is the latest company to announce energy price hikes with people now said to be facing more than an extra €300 on their energy bills. 

The Taoiseach has already ruled out a return of energy credits. 

But speaking to Ocean FM news, Sinn Feins Finance Spokesperson and Donegal Deputy Pearse Doherty says the Government must reconsider as many households are at the pin of their collar:
