A Donegal TD has accused the Government of sleepwalking into the 'worst ever' crisis in special education this September.  
 
Only last week it was claimed parents in Sligo are frantic over not being able to secure a place for their child at St. Cecilia's Special School.

Sinn Féin wants the Government to ensure every child with additional needs has a place in school.

Reversing the reintroduction of exam fees and committing to class size reductions are among the other demands the party will make in the Dáil today.

Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn says there needs to be a sense of urgency:
