Cancer patients in Donegal are facing difficult decisions as changes to the Donegal-Dublin flight schedule looms.

 

A new Public Service Obligation contract announced last week removes afternoon flights in favour of a new schedule, and the aircraft will no longer be based overnight in Donegal.

 

The new timetable is set to come into operation at the end of March.

 

Local woman Sheila and some of her family members have all battled cancer and used the flight to get their treatment in Dublin.

 

She's warning that the flight is vital for local people and its removal will have serious consequences for the community:
