Beaches around the county are under advisory for people wishing to bathe due to potential pollutants in the water.

Affected beaches include Fintra and Bundoran, with the warning reported to remain in place until tomorrow (Friday).

Independent Councillor and Cathaoirleach of the Donegal MD Jimmy Brogan says the measures are a somewhat common occurrence:
