A large amount of damaged bumpers have been discovered at a Sligo beauty spot.

The incident of illegal dumping at Deerpark Forest in Calry is believed to have happened in recent days.

The matter has been reported to Sligo County Council and efforts are set to be made to determine who is responsible.

Fine Gael Cllr Thomas Walsh says it's an insult to the local community to carry out such an act and appealing to anyone with information to come forward:
