 

A Leitrim Councillor has called for consideration to be given to short stay parking being introduced in parts of Manorhamilton.

 

It's thought the introduction of a one hour parking limit on the New Line area of the town would help ensure regular turnover of spaces and support the continued viability of local businesses.

 

Local Cllr James Gilmartin says it’s an important commercial street to the town of Manorhamilton.

 

The Independent Councillor feels a fair and effective parking management system needs to be put in place in the interest of all concerned:
