 

It’s claimed there was an alarming level of anti-social behaviour in Rosses Point this week.

 

 

Huge crowds flocked to the beach over the last few days and several serious incidents are said to have occurred.

 

 

It’s reported a small dog died following injuries sustained after being attacked by another dog on the beach.

 

A number of fires were also said to be lit on the dunes in the area causing significant damage.

 

 

Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council and Fianna Fail Cllr Donal Gilroy says unfortunately it’s a worrying trend seen right across the country this week but will be calling for extra resources at a local level:
