Forestry companies in Leitrim are under fire over the condition of some of the local road network.

 

Many routes are said to be now impassable as heavy machinery has caused significant damage to road surfaces.

 

There's said to be several examples right across the County.

 

It has led to calls on forestry companies to provide the necessary funding for repair works.
