There are fears Mountcharles Garda Station may close permanently if it’s not refurbished. 

The building is said to be in need of some repair works. 

Currently, the station is open a few hours a week for clinics and other engagements. 

Local Cllr Jimmy Brogan is warning that operations at the Garda station will wind down further unless the necessary works are carried out:
