Opposition parties are maintaining pressure on the government over the review of SNA allocations.

Despite a pause in the process, Sinn Fein's accusing the coalition of creating confusion and anger over the issue.

It's bringing forward a Dail motion next week demanding the department and government apologise to schools, SNAs and parents.

The party's spokesperson on Finance and Donegal TD Pearse Doherty says there needs to be clarity:
