The Boathouse in Kinlough has been extended and refurbished. 

The amenity is used regularly by local community groups and clubs. 

The works include a meeting room, public toilets and a kitchen.

The facility is now the official home for the Kayak Club, where they can continue to deliver water sports to members. 

It will also be used by the Four Masters NS, the pre-schools, the members of the community garden, the Men's Shed and others.
