The bus stop in Ballisodare has been moved after numerous requests from residents in the area.

The previous location had been causing concern due to the build-up of traffic through the village when buses were stopped.

The bus stop as well as the ongoing road works and loss of car parking spaces all contributed to delays when passing through the village.

Sligo-Drumcliffe Councillor Edel McSharry says it's important that the new stop did not remove any parking spaces on the Main Street:
