Another letter has been sent to the Education Minister around the conditions of Gaelscoil Chnoc Na Rae ahead of the new school term.

It comes as the learning environment there was deemed unacceptable for pupils and staff.

The school is currently using ageing prefabs and part of the facilities at Kent Park, which is said to be not up to standard.

Sligo Councillor Marie Casserly, who authored the letter, says figures at the Department of Education must move the matter forward:
