 

 

A Sligo Leitrim TD says the North West area is benefiting from the Green Party being absent at the cabinet table.

 

Deputy Eamon Scanlon made the comments while welcoming latest updates regarding progress on the Eastern Garavogue Bridge in Sligo and the Sligo. Greenway.

 

The Ballymote TD also praised North West Junior Minsters Marian Harkin and Frank Feighan for their efforts on these projects.

 

Deputy Scanlon says in the past such projects were halted due a preference by the Green party to prioritise public transport.

 

The Fianna Fáil TD says that approach was never going to suit those living in the North West.
