A Sligo Councillor has warned that ‘the County is sleep walking into a major winter of disruption’ as workers in several different sectors are struggling to cope with rising fuel and energy costs.

 

 

The stark warning from Sligo Councillor, Michael Clarke comes as nurses say they may consider industrial action if the government does not roll out extra supports for those using their cars at work or implement outstanding pay deals.
