Sligo Chamber of Commerce has announced the shortlist of nominations for the 2026 Business Excellence Awards.

Businesses and organisations from across the Northwest received nominations in five categories celebrating outstanding operations, innovation, and project delivery.

The Net Zero Achievement Excellence Award, proudly sponsored by AIB, is for businesses that promote carbon neutrality in their operations. Nominees include The Address Hotel in Sligo; The Martina Hamilton Collection, Cat and The Moon in Sligo; Abbott Nutrition in Finisklin in Sligo.

The Skillnet Regional Excellence Award, sponsored by Sligo Chamber Skillnet, is for companies that have shown commitment to staff upskilling and investment in personal enhancement. Nominees include VOYA Organic Beauty, the skincare and beauty brand; Vision Built, an offsite manufacturing business based in Tubbercurry specialising in the design and installation of modular buildings; and The Glasshouse Hotel in Sligo.

The LEO Excellence Award sponsored by Sligo Local Enterprise Office is for businesses, services or products with growth potential. Nominees include Tall Team, the mobile game developers; Gildea Chartered Quantity Surveyors; and Tri Moon Films, the film and TV production company.

The Innovator Excellence Award,sponsored by ATU Sligo, is for companies that have demonstrated the circular economy in action, and which bring organisations closer to futureproofing their business models. Nominees include Good 4 U, a family-run health food business in Sligo; Higgins Pharmacy in Sligo; and Voya Seaweed Baths in Strandhill.

The shortlist for the Fáilte Ireland-sponsored Tourism and Hospitality Award includes the Taste of Sligo Food Festival; Northwest Adventure Tours in Sligo town; and Hawk’s Rock Distillery in Hazelwood.

Winners will be announced at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Friday, March 6th.
