A Sligo Fianna Fail Councillor says the return of Cllr Joe Queenan to the Party fold is a positive development and is something to be welcomed.

 

Cllr Paul Taylor says the party faithful in West Sligo were always eager that Joe Queenan would emerge to the party.

 

Cllr Taylor says that his Council colleague is a steady hand and his return will benefit Fianna Fáil locally.

 

When it comes to any concerns remaining over why Cllr Queenan left the party in 2015, Cllr Taylor says it’s in everybody’s interest to move on from the alleged incidents of the RTE investigations programme and concentrate on the future
