The RNLI has issued a water safety appeal ahead of the Easter weekend, warning of dangerous conditions along the North West coast.


Strong winds and waves of up to three metres are forecast for Sligo and Donegal, making some beaches incredibly hazardous.


Anyone heading near the water is being urged to check conditions, carry a means of communication, and take extra care.
