Serious safety concerns have been raised once again over the N17.

 

Various sections of the route in the south Sligo area are said to be in a major state of disrepair, with claims that several vehicles have been damaged as a result.

 

Sligo County Council is currently in discussions with the TII in a bid to get upgrade works carried out at the problem areas.

 

But Fianna Fail Cllr Barry Gallagher says there needs to be a sense of urgency on the matter:
