 

A Donegal Sinn Fein TD has told his constituency colleague that  it's time that he and the  cabinet took their for their heads out of the sand and responded to the suffering being endured by the public due to rising fuel costs.

 

The message from Deputy Pearse Doherty to Minister Charlie McConalogue as a final decision on what to include in a package of measures was finalised last evening before being brought to Cabinet this morning.

 

Indications have suggested that the there are limits as to what the Government will introduce.

 

Sinn Fein’s Finance Spokesperson says half measures will not be enough and it’s crucial that the Government do now sell the public short:
