Families in the North West are said to be already struggling over massive price increases in petrol, diesel and home heating oil.

It comes as the Government is facing increasing pressure locally to provide emergency measures to help people with the rising costs.

Sinn Fein Cllr Arthur Gibbons believes the oil companies are holding the country to ransom.

He says its high time the Government take action
