 

Minister Darragh O'Brien has launched a new state-of-the-art Fire Training Centre at Ireland West Airport, boosting airport safety and emergency response.


Backed by more than €2.3 million in Government funding, the facility will help ensure the highest standards in aircraft rescue and firefighting training.


The investment forms part of the airport's wider growth strategy, with plans to expand passenger facilities as passenger numbers approach one million this year.
