 

Atlantic Technological University has been awarded €536,000 under the Government's Creative Climate Action Fund.

 

The funding will support the WAVE project, helping students, graduates, disabled people and residents in supported housing engage with climate action through creative projects.

 

The initiative aims to make climate action more inclusive by giving a stronger voice to people who are often underrepresented.

 

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Minister Marian Harkin says the funding recognises ATU's work in creating more inclusive pathways for climate action and ensuring more people can contribute to shaping solutions.
