A Manorhamilton third level student living and studying in Dublin has made a passionate appeal to the government to reverse the recent changes made to the Residential Tenancies Bill.

It was claimed by the coalition that they would provide stronger tenant protections and greater certainty for renters.

However it's claimed that the changes have had the opposite effect with many smaller Landlord deciding to exit the rental market.

Shona Sheridan from Manorhamilton is a third level student in DCU.

She is currently renting in Santry. 
Recently she was informed by her Landlord that he was selling the property and the current occupants have until the summer to find new accommodation.
