Clarity will be sought over potential job losses at Kingsbridge Hospital Sligo at a key meeting today.

 

There's major concern locally over possible redundancies at the facility following a meeting between staff and management last week.

 

Kingsbridge is looking to implement a new care model in Sligo.

 

With 83 staff currently employed there, it is feared the move will result in dramatic cuts to the overall workforce.

 

Local Junior Ministers and TDs are to meet with representatives from Kingsbridge at Leinster house later.
