A community-led proposal is seeking to improve rural transport connectivity for residents in Calry and surrounding areas.

 

The proposal would reroute the existing 563 Local Link service through Calry village and Newtown manor without adding cost or impacting timetables.

 

Local residents say the change would improve access to public transport for underserved areas while existing bus services already provide strong links to ATU St Angela's.

 

Speaking to Ocean Fm News Cllr Edel McSharry says the proposal is a practical common-sense solution that deserves serious consideration from transport authorities.
