A Leitrim School has enjoyed success at the FÍS Film Awards which celebrates filmmaking in primary schools.

 

Among those in attendance at the awards presentation in Dublin was the Minister for Education and Youth Hildegard Naughton.

 

Over 1,500 pupils from schools across county submitted showcasing their creativity and storytelling skills.

 

The Film of the Year, was won St Hugh’s National School in Dowra, Co Leitrim.
