A Manorhamilton based Councillor has challenged the plans to erect the largest windmills in Ireland in north Leitrim

 

 

Cllr Felim Gurn says if this plan is allowed to proceed it will have a major impact on Residents living close to the proposed development which is located on Donagh Mountain.

 

The proposed turbines will be 185m and will be the tallest in Ireland. 

 

 

The Independent elected representative wants a public meeting to be facilitated by the developers to adequately address the concerns held by many local residents.
