Concern is being expressed over rubbish being dumped at various bottle banks and clothing banks in north Leitrim.

 

It's understood that the situation has intensified in recent weeks after large quantities were returned to such locations over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

 

The Cathaoirleach of the Local Authority in Leitrim, Cllr Mary Bohan has been a long-time advocate for CCTV to be introduced at such facilities.

 

She says there are issues currently at number of locations in the Dromahair area.
