Up to 110 new jobs for carers in the North West have been announced by Dovida.

 

The hiring of 80 carers in Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon as well as a further 30 in Donegal is set to ease pressure on hospitals coming into the winter period.

 

It comes as hospital overcrowding figures for last month were the highest of any August on record.

 

Dovida's General Manager for Donegal says the increase is important for people in rural areas of Donegal who require care:
