A Donegal TD thinks the upcoming Republic of Ireland v Israel game should not go ahead.

 

Ireland is to play Israel at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Sunday October 4th.

 

Ministers for Sport Charlie McConalogue and Patrick O'Donovan have already confirmed they are to boycott the game.

 

Seamus Coleman has already spoken out this week, saying players should not be a position where they have to answer questions about this issue.

 

Speaking in the Dáil, Donegal Sinn Fein TD Pearse Doherty says the Government should withdraw its support from the game going ahead.

 

While responding, Tánaiste and Minister for Finance Simon Harris says UFEA is the governing body and it's a matter for them and not the Government:
