There are calls for an urgent meeting over the ongoing controversy with the Rory Gallagher Tribute Festival and Tickets.ie.

 

The future of the major festival in Ballyshannon has been thrown into doubt as Tickets.ie announced this week it's gone into liquidation.

 

The ticket website owes 283,000 to the Rory Gallagher Tribute Festival which is said to equate to around 70% of its overall revenue.

 

Sinn Fein Cllr Michael McMahon says the festival is vital to Ballyshannon and every effort needs to be made to ensure it survives:
