A motion is being brought before Donegal County Council today calling for a meeting between Creeslough families and the Justice Minister.

 

 

Minister Jim O'Callaghan has so far declined to meet with the families tragically impacted, amid calls for a public inquiry.

 

 

Meanwhile the council has also granted planning permission last week for a petrol station beside the Creeslough explosion site.

 

 

Families have described the move as deeply hurtful and are now considering an appeal.

 

 

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Councillor Tomás Seán Devine says the families feel abandoned, with no communication from authorities, and insists it cannot continue without meaningful engagement.
