Met Éireann has issued warnings for snow and ice, particularly in northern and western regions with temperatures dipping to as low as minus 4 degrees.

 

Locally this morning will be cold, with some frost and ice.

 

Later this morning there will be dry and sunny conditions in the north and west.

 

Later there will be just a few isolated showers.

 

 This afternoon temperatures will struggle to hit between 3 to 7 degrees.
