A Leitrim farming official is expressing concern that the ongoing protest being staged by IFA farm members at the head-quarters of Bord Bia could be a futile exercise.

 

 

Kevin Comiskey says farmers may have acted hastily in occupying the offices of Bord Bia and he has questioned if it's a move supported by all farmers.

 

 

Kevin Comiskey says if the protesting farmers fail in their efforts to remove Larry Murrin as Chair of Bord Bia they will lose credibility.

 

 The former national IFA executive member has offered to mediate talks between the respective parties in the hope of finding a solution to the impasse.
