Pastor Lonnie Provo opens the program with reflections on the foundational nature of Jesus Christ and shares childhood memories of growing up in the summer. Joined over the phone by regular caller Mama Nellie, the two discuss storm recovery in Indiana, address a Bible question about the name El Gabor, and share uplifting poetry on authenticity and forgiveness. Later, Pastor Lonnie takes a call from Sister Sylvia to offer encouragement through health challenges, teaching from Jeremiah 30:17 on standing firm in faith for physical healing and strength through persistent prayer.
