Join Pastor Lonnie Provo and Brother Ed on Oasis Radio Ministries live from Houston, Texas (KKHT 100.7 FM The Word). In this powerful and deeply transparent episode, the hosts and special guests share raw testimonies of overcoming addiction, breaking free from the bondage of the past, and experiencing the radical, transformative power of Jesus Christ.
This episode features powerful listener moments and incredible stories of redemption:
Overcoming Addiction Through Christ: Pastor Lonnie shares his personal testimony of hitting rock bottom, emphasizing that true freedom comes not from 12-step programs alone, but by asking God to remove the very desire for sin and changing your associations.
The Call for Prayer & Forgiveness: A heavy-hearted listener, Gabby, calls into the program while driving to the ICU where her mother is fighting for her life. The team wraps her in prayer, lifting up her mother's healing and helping Gabby navigate deep-seated family pain and forgiveness.
From Victim to Victory: A special guest drops by to share her remarkable testimony of surviving severe trauma, recovering from decades of drug addiction, and coming to Christ later in life. She details her journey from an eighth-grade dropout to earning a Master’s degree from Sam Houston State University, founding a publishing journey (To Hell and Back from Victim to Victory), and developing discipleship programs and a stabilization home for women in transition.
