Ruby Franke is a former family vlogger who ran the popular YouTube channel 8 Passengers, documenting her life as a mother of six. She later became widely known for her involvement in a child abuse case and was convicted in 2024, bringing an end to her online career.

Jodi Hildebrandt is a former therapist and life coach who co-founded the self-help organization Connexions. She was a close associate of Ruby Franke and was also convicted in 2024 for child abuse related to the same case.
