Nostalgia Tonight with Joe Sibilia | 7-26-26

On this week's broadcast of "Nostalgia Tonight with Joe Sibilia," Joe welcomes back his friend, legendary television host Marc Summers, as he celebrates 40 years of "Double Dare" with a reunion show at City Winery in Philadelphia on October 4th, followed by a pay-per-view webcast of the sthow on October 31st. Joe and Marc reminisce about "Double Dare," the show's move to Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios Orlando, Marc's chance to interview and slime Steven Spielberg, and Joe reunites Marc with Matthew Sambolin, who was a contestant on an infamous episode of "Double Dare that never made it to air. 

Plus, Marc learns the Price is WRONG from Bob Barker, takes Chuck Barris to task for "The Gong Show," praises game show producer Mark Goodson, dishes the dirt on Joey Bishop, plays "Pies in the Pants" with Regis Philbin, interviews Hugh Downs, and remembers some bizarre surprise parties from his Food Network show "It's a Surprise."
